A Canadian businessman who vanished in Mexico for over a week has been found dead in the trunk of his torched rental car and his family says he was executed.

A missing Canadian businessman’s rental car was found completely burned with a corpse in the trunk on Sunday, police in southern Mexico reported.

A report Saturday that a young woman was in the trunk of a rental car at northbound state Route 163 and Friars Road was being investigated by San Diego police.
