After calling 911, a man admitted to damaging his girlfriend’s rental car, according to a police report. Police responded to the 911 call at Magazine Street near Woodrow Wilson Court to find both the suspect and the victim. The suspect, identified as Earnell Kelly, 26, of 65 Dewey St., Boston, admitted to smashing the right-front mirror of the victim’s car.

Police in Arizona are seeking a man suspected in connection with a string of car thefts from rental agencies in Phoenix and Tucson. Authorities said the suspect used Mexican identification to rent vehicles from two separate airport rental agencies, which police would not identify.
