A black Volkswagen Jetta lingered before making a right turn. The driver and passenger in a passing gray Isuzu Rodeo levied lasting glances, mouths agape, as they passed Sandra Weavers home today, a duplex near the corner of Norris Road and East 17th Street the one with the Chrysler stuck out the front door.

Kind of town Id move to To the editor: Last Tuesday I was visiting Baker City because Im considering moving there in January. I walked Main Street several times taking in the old architecture and must have dropped my rental car keys while in awe.

SONOMA, Calif. (AP) — Thinking he was a lock to move on in qualifying, Will Power drove into the pits, ready to park his car for the next session. Instead of greeting him with open arms, Power’s crew members were waving them, imploring him to get back out on the track.
