Nissan Leaf to be offered as rental car
Nissan Motor Co. will sell 500 Leaf electric cars to Enterprise Rent-A-Car starting in January, as the Japanese automaker aims to put more drivers behind the wheel of its battery-powered vehicle.

Car rental company Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (DTG) said Wednesday that it has received an unsolicited bid from Avis Budget Group, Inc. (CAR) to acquire the company for cash and stock.
